Disaster Report for 6-7-12
Due to the floods and heavy rains schools in the barangay we're called off at 12 noon. These rains were brought by the Southwest monsoon.
A spot inspection was done around the barangay at 8:30am, August 7 2012 by SC Nelson Lim and Mr. Bonifacio G. Arbalate. They spotted some areas that were affected by the heavy downpour and some places that need immediate repar such as the following:
- Collapsed creek wall of the Anahaw creek at the back of 141 Anahaw.
- Detached cable wire along Mango drive
- Loose cable wires tangled into branches and street signs at Atis corner Mango drive.
- Leaning leaves in front of 133 Batangas West (due to strong winds) and;
- An uneven MERALCO line along Boigainvilla corner Sanggumay drive that needs immediate repair.
